Split Rock Lighthouse ornament
2010 Fundraiser

I decided two years ago, when conceiving the idea of creating a fundraiser with the sale of my new ornament line, that CHUM (Churches United in Ministry) in Duluth, Minnesota would be the third recipient of the Great Lake Ornament Fundraiser. My intention was to have the new ornament designed and ready for the stores at the start of the summer. My process was delayed this year as a direct result of the recession, and there was no design ready even as fall approached. So, instead of hastily getting something together for just the November/December Christmas season, I have decided to designate the 2010 fundraiser ornament as the CHUM fundraiser. When you buy it from this site, $2 of the sale will go to CHUM. When you come to the studio to buy it then I am donating $4 to CHUM. This design in my new "dyed linen" format depicts Split Rock lighthouse as it might have been illustrated 100 years earlier.
